Hey there. I’m Seth Leichnitz, the guy behind Seth’s Home Pros. I’m not just another chintzy or cheap contractor referral service, like Angi's List or Thumbtack. I’m your neighbor in Central and Southern Maine with proven experience and a strong network of contractors.


I'm on a mission to help homeowners connect with truly reliable, vetted, and local contractors while also fighting against the contamination of bad contractors that hurt and scam people.

My Story

With over 8 years in the Maine construction industry, I've heard  COUNTLESS stories from homeowners like you getting screwed over by run-of-the-mill contractors, whether it was shoddy work, not completing the job, or an outright scam and heist.

During my time in the construction industry, I've built a strong network of what I'm proud to say are truly the best and most trustworthy contractors local to Maine. All of them want to do right by you, the homeowner.


I started my construction journey by acquiring an associate's degree in Sustainable Construction at Kennebec Valley Community College and entering the Maine construction workforce immediately after.


I've worked on everything from cozy Maine cottages to big commercial builds, and I've also worked alongside some remarkable craftsman, and outright scam artists.


But here's what got me fired up to start this company: hearing homeowners just like you share horror stories about contractors who ghost, botch jobs, or take the money and run.


That's not how home improvement should be.

So, I started Seth’s Home Pros to fight off the riff-raff and connect you with vetted, trustworthy pros who get it right. I’m here to make sure your next project leaves you feeling like the confident champ you are.
